After completing a full brand refresh for Two Fat Cats Bakery—a Portland and South Portland institution known for scratch-made pies, pastries, and sweets—we turned our attention to the physical world. The refreshed identity needed to show up everywhere: on the counter, in customers' hands, on staff, and on the building itself.
The brand refresh gave Two Fat Cats a redrawn logo system, a warm color palette built around their signature custard yellow, a new typography system, and a custom hand-drawn pattern featuring bakery icons unique to them. But a brand guide only goes so far. Two Fat Cats needed that identity translated into a full suite of printed materials, branded apparel, exterior signage for a new location, and product photography—the tangible pieces that customers actually see and interact with every day.

We designed and print-managed collateral across the full range of the bakery's daily and seasonal needs: business cards on premium heavy-duty kraft paper, folded printed menus for everyday use and holiday-specific versions for Thanksgiving, Easter, Mother's Day, and more, stickers for to-go packaging, premium kraft bookmarks listing all their pies, and promotional cards for seasonal campaigns. Staff got branded t-shirts and aprons. For the new South Portland location, we designed the exterior signage and managed the printing and installation process. We also directed and shot multiple product and location photoshoots, with styling that leaned into texture, real ingredients, and a homemade warmth.
Two Fat Cats now has a complete physical brand presence that matches what's coming out of the ovens—consistent, warm, and unmistakably theirs—whether you're seeing it on a pie bookmark, a to-go sticker, or the side of the building.

We thought you might say that! We've been dying to meet you too.
