Shopify Website Design for Little

Little children's boutique Shopify store design with faceted navigation for large product catalog

Little is a high-end children's boutique in Portland, Maine. Honoring the magic of childhood, Little offers high-quality, beautifully made children’s ware that inspires joy.

Background

As a boutique with a wide catalog and tens of thousands of SKUs, Little needed a Shopify site designed for large catalogs and product enrichment.

The Solution

We worked closely with Little's founder, Angela Foddrill, to develop a website that married best practices with the most important elements of her merchandising.

The Outcome

With fully featured collections and sub-collections and a navigation built around faceted search, the website serves to mimic the in-store experience as much as possible: a clean, warm, comfortable environment for product discovery and, of course, purchase.

I know we're not their only client, but the dedication and accommodation they put into this project make me feel otherwise—they're always prepared to answer our questions and address our concerns.

The Takeaway

Angela Foddrill has been working with First Pier since 2011 — longer than almost any client in their portfolio. The Little boutique relationship started with a Magento-to-Shopify migration and has grown into comprehensive digital partnership spanning web development, SEO, marketing, and POS. When she launched the new website, revenue increased 200%. That's the outcome of a team that treats every client like they're their only client. The advice Angela gives to prospective clients: be as committed as their team if you want to build a lasting collaboration.
